Ragwort is a *wonderful* plant for insects, like cinnabar moth caterpillars, which evolved to eat nothing else. No ragwort, no cinnabar moths. But because it can be toxic to cattle, in Ireland landowners risk heavy fines if they don’t kill it off, usually with herbicide. No wonder nature is dying.
