At least they are providing them? Today is the first day they are providing flu shots. I tried scheduling kids in Sept for flu and Covid but was told the vaccines wouldn’t even be in hand till Oct. 😬😬😬

I just got my flu shot. Now I need to call to schedule one of the kids to get the flu and Covid shots and me a Covid vaccine. I think it is dumb as hell that my work isn’t providing Covid vaccines.

It is 45 hours. It is a mixed bag. After doing it for 3 years people are starting to actually talk to me. 🙄🙄🙄 It is dealing with the public, which as you have witnessed, is a mixed bag. The best part for me is the OSF staff. Everyone from the house managers to concessions are delightful.

For the season! I hit my hours goal last week. I’m just finishing out my schedule.

I am so ready for fall that I baked bread today and I’m making curry roasted apple and butternut squash soup.

I made my first batch the end of Aug. I tried at little Friday night and it is so so good. I am going to start another batch next weekend. I’m trying to decide if I am going to try to find another set of bottles for it or just use canning jars like a hillbilly.

Someone gave me a shopping bag of jalapeno and Serrano peppers. I am canning basic bitch jalapeno jelly with the plan of giving coworkers and friends the jelly with recipes to use it and a small bottle of limoncello I also made. I have also started my X-mas shopping and my Halloween costume.
