I'm so proud to finally be in a Naruto/Boruto volume! Ikemoto really makes him look so cool! As a kid I was always jealous of the Japanese kids who got their drawings in some Naruto volumes. There is no word to describe how happy I am; I'm sure it would make kids me scream of joy!

I hate talking about my hot takes since its corny to me. But Imma be honest with myself and say, when it comes to being a long time Naruto fan. I actually enjoy the Boruto series. I think it gets way too much hate for what it wants to be. Is it perfect, no, but it does has its best moments.

It is interesting that “Boruto” starts with this “natural chakra-powered jutsu-using ninjas” vs “technology-powered jutsu-weapon using ninjas“ plot, when you take into consideration that “Naruto” was the first Shonen Jump manga to be done all digitally.

Seeing how this culture plays out in fandom, I think this is giving too much credit. People believe that their intents with a text matter more than the text as a whole. See: the clipping story. People like that they can do whatever they want to texts with no regard to the total meaning.
