iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

The project has me in Baltimore 9-10 hours tomorrow, plus the drive from DC. Originally at one site until noon, then across town at noon. This afternoon they changed the second one to 1:30 as the customer realized I needed to travel & have lunch. Believe it, or not, but this *is* well organized.

Yahoo! email just broke the old interface to force you to use the new interface (ie: now unable to view multiple accounts without logging out/in). The new interface resembles a Twitch template and the ad box size doubled. While you no longer can see the list of your accounts, it's a click away.

My Fair Lady: Eliza Doolittle Says G'ON!

What is the movie that came out before you were born that you've watched the most times? There's some Disney titles that are strong contenders, and some classics I routinely quote, but the answer has to be: "My Fair Lady."

Driving to these long projects allows me to bring extra items, like my renfaire garb. It's a cool, lightly rainy day, in MD so I eschewed the merchant garb for the simple fighter. The boots I bought a year ago are finally starting to break in - and I haven't slipped once in the mud.

This trip I brought my printer & had occasion to use it. In the months since it's last use HP has disabled the app I was using & the new app doesn't support my printer, leaving me unable to scan a document. The printer is old enough for me to remember its original drivers did not need an app.

OK. The experienced people assigned? They didn't keep track of hardware, and in a recent case - didn't look in the box for the correct hardware. I'm beginning to understand why I'm needed. Times like this I refer to my twin sister's reason for leaving management: "I don't like baby sitting adults."
