Can we just fire everybody being paid by a large media company directly into the sun? I don't want to fuss with who meant it or not, because this is just egregious

Hey @brittrobson.bsky.social Pete Nance looks like one of the guys out the door in Milwaukee. Shot 42% from 3, only 26, 6-10, 230, high BBIQ, plays 4/5. Any chance the Wolves would think about him, or is the roster locked tight?

(Yes, I have read the piece.) I think the piece mistakes the issue: it thinks that Court expansion erodes public confidence in the moral authority of the Court. But that is just a wild claim to me. I don't think the Court has moral authority.

Q: Can you name a time when you voted against Trump and it changed the outcome? SUSAN COLLINS: At one point, I had organized people to vote against Sec. Hegseth. At the very last minute one of our Republicans changed his mind. Otherwise he would've been defeated. Q: So it didn't change the outcome

The thing is that you can’t escape an authoritarian through acquiescence. Countless examples abound. They’re going to come for all of us one day regardless. Why not take a chance and go down swinging? The only conclusion you can draw is that the NYT ACTUALLY WANTS TRUMP TO SUCCEED.

The status quo is effectively telling Democrats you won’t have a serious chance at ever having a liberal majority for something close to the rest of our lives. That might be tolerable if the 6-3 Court weren’t insanely partisan, but they are insanely partisan so here we are.

If the Republican justices really cared about preventing new seats, the single easiest thing is at least one or even two of them could resign under the next Dem president. That we take it for granted they never would shows exactly how highly they prioritize their partisanship over any other concern.
