Between pain meds and, when those didn't help, an edible specifically made to help with pain, I finally managed to get some more sleep, so I'm feeling somewhat human again at this point. Ish.

Update on the ankle: I slept horribly last night because it was hurting, which led to me waking up with an absolutely splitting headache this morning. So I said "fuck it" and called out of work.

It's definitely not great, but I'm at least thankful it's not properly broken. I've had hairline fractures before, and while they're not fun it could definitely be worse.

It could definitely be worse, so I'll take what I can get. Limping around with crutches and/or my cane for a few weeks isn't even all that out of the ordinary considering how often this ankle gets injured.

The positive: my ankle isn't broken. The negative: there is a hairline fracture, so I'm definitely going to be hobbling around for the next few weeks.
