Now that I think about it... is this the first in recent history that we've gotten two major (non-mobile) Star Wars games in one year? And they both got great reviews as well. Pretty impressive!

I don't know how possible this would be but, for future #FireEmblem games, it would be interesting if Intelligent Systems gave players the opportunity to experience the story the old-school FE way (i.e. just cutscenes and lite prep/battle) or the new-school way (3H and FW).

You almost have to wonder if Nintendo will try to buy MercurySteam one of these days. Their ability to make action-heavy 2D games with pseudo-3D mixed in at moments is pretty unmatched, at least in Nintendo's realm of influence. It probably wouldn't happen unless Ravenous sold 5-10 mil+ copies...

One thing I was hoping for in the Direct today was a new game series Challenge after the Donkey Kong one ended last month. Was hoping maybe we could get a Zelda Challenge next, complete with Zelda cards to collect.

Very impressed that Nintendo produced as many Kirby Air Riders amiibo as they have. I kinda wish they'd make one last one for Starman, but otherwise it's a pretty complete set.

It's cool that OoT is getting amiibo, but I was hoping more for Link on Epona, Ganondorf with his fist raised (when it shows his Triforce mark at the end), and Sheik playing the lyre. Kaepora Gaebora (the owl) could have been cool too.

This trailer is WILD! I've not been this excited for a Star Wars project in a while. 🤯 I did not expect Season 2 to have as much space battle stuff as they're showing but this looks to be the most ambitious space battle(s?) since at least The Battle of Scarif in Rogue One.

Exciting to know Kingdom Hearts IV is finally coming next year but, man, the next game really needs to come out within 4 years of this one. 8 years between KHIII and IV is ridiculous... (yes, I know there was 13 between KHII and III, but at least there were spinoffs in between).

Calling it now: sometime before the end of the week, possibly even tomorrow, PlayStation will retract their announcement of ending physical support because of the public outcry. It'll happen inevitably, but I think they'll realize they've jumped the gun for now. Just a hunch.

I don’t want this point to be lost in the discourse. Going digital-only means inequity for people who cannot afford internet or constantly purchasing new games. Libraries provide opportunities for people to experience games they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, and that will be lost.

Ordered the physical copy as soon as I saw this. Apparently Google is saying that there are licenses for real-world vehicles in the game that have expired, so I'm not sure this one will get put back up on eshop.

Calling it now: if Toy Story 6 happens, they're going to make AI the villain (which they should). Also, for the emotional/narrative arc, they should end it with a teenage Bonnie who decides to help/mentor little kids who have trouble socializing, helping them through therapy with the use of toys.

Saw Toy Story 5 today and enjoyed it. I'm glad they finally got around to addressing tech in the story (specifically tablets/phones) but it also feels like they're at least 10 years too late with that theme. I'd have to rewatch the other movies, but right now I'd probably rank this one the lowest.

This is really cool. I'm looking forward to replaying the original Toy Story game again. I believe I played bits and pieces of it on SNES and Genesis but I only ever owned the Game Boy version, so I'm looking forward to playing through and finishing the console versions for once.

Not gonna lie, I'm disappointed it's another remake of Star Fox 64 (the third! Fourth if you count 64 being a remake of SNES original). HOWEVER, I do understand the choice. It's been 10 years since the last one, and they want to reintroduce it to audiences with their best one.

Finally finished FFVII Rebirth. Really enjoyed it, but after 100 hours or so, I'm also really ready to move on to the next game. Also, the final final fight is probably the most difficult final boss fight Square Enix has designed in a FF game probably ever. Or at least the action-oriented ones.

I know I'm a month late to this but I finally saw the Super Mario Galaxy Movie today and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Are there things it could have done better? Of course. But I find a lot of the really harsh reviews completely overblown.

I didn't realize this until recently but Costco is GREAT for buying video games, and I'm not even talking about the initial $8 you save by buying what would be full price elsewhere. Case in point: my local Costco had copies of Pokemon Legends: Z-A for $30, Kirby Air Riders for $38, and MP4 for $40.
