My studio move is complete and I shipped orders from it today. My friend who helped with the move organized my shipping boxes ... seems I have plenty of Medium Whatever the Fuck This is.

Art-studio move day 1.5 was a big win, but the mister and I were so tired that we went to bed at 8pm. Now we're wide awake at 3:30 am and I'm grilling weird little tortilla pizzas.

This is just the undermess of a new painting so it's way too early to say this, but if I get my way it will be some sort of abstracted Widow's Bay situation. And I may have a title in mind, which is the kiss of death (TOO SOON) so I'll try to set that aside in the back of my head and paint.

A 2 foot by 2 foot canvas on an easel, with a roughly paintbrushed mark first layer in stormy blue and grays in the "sky" and a mix of tans, grays, deep prussian blues in the craggy-shaped bottom.

We cooked! Sort-of-pozole, refried black and kidney beans, rice, guacamole, flour tortillas.
