Critical reading is estimated between 2-4 min/pg so let's avg. 3min x 150pg x 3 classes = 22.5 *HOURS* of reading per week. Not including other assignments, other classes, PT jobs to pay for school, etc. That's not to say people want to read less now, but Carlos was probably crushing his students.

I was a much more avid reader in college than I am now, but back then I was in a reading-heavy major at a very good school. I didn't have an aversion to reading whatsoever, but 150pg/wk across multiple classes was simply too much. Especially to try and work through things critically.

as a parent of one very small human, i can say this: my parents generation? there really wasn't fertility options, and everyone has kids. Of *my* network, I know of at least 7 couples off the top of my head with male-focused fertility issues who have ended up doing IVF.
