#Promptober2026 day 4; he’s a highly sought after wedding coordinator. He delegates most of the tasks, but if push comes to shove, he’s pretty decent at them all!

Chapter 1: ingredients (xvtober2025 day 1)

The more Noctis thinks about it, the less it becomes fun to watch Gladio’s bulk hunching down stop motion-style to be of service to Ignis who, anyway, is already on his knee, clawing the earth with his bare hands, tidiness be damned.

“Whatcha thinkin’, Noct?” Maybe a true friend would withhold certain information.

But anyway, he points at Ignis rising to his feet, a look of triumph on his face as he brushes the dirt off the man-looking root using his own two hands, then explains to Prompto, “If you think about it, we put that thing in our mouths.”

Chapter 2: ancestors (xvtober2025 day 2)

“And who is that?”

“Who?” Prompto looks at Ignis funny. “That’s my grandfather! He’s the same guy in this picture. Here, see?” With a deft set of fingers, he brings them five pictures back in his camera roll, to that one where Prompto has convinced the old man to put up a pair of peace signs for their selfie. “We’re practically twins from the nose down!” So he says.

But, well, who is Ignis to tell him his grandfather’s nose is quite obviously wider than his, and his chin much thinner?

With a nod, Ignis concedes. “Yes. I see it.”

Chapter 3: strong enemies (xvtober2024 day 3)

it was between this or "hotel" from xvtober2023 so I figured I could just combine both 😂

Chapter Text

The flash of sunlight is Noctis’ signifier for war. Even with the blanket pulled from his clutches, he glares upon his oppressors. He won’t falter, even though one of them is a man-shaped garula flexing his muscles, and the other is closer to a coeurl than a human being, nudging his glasses back. He knows their plan of attack, he’s been through this before.

Unfortunately for him, he’s yet to succeed in escaping Ignis once he’s got his clutches on him. Not for the first—or likely the last—time, he leaves the hotel kicking and screaming on Gladio’s shoulder.
