These are all good but RADIATA STORIES, the unsung Tri-Ace game that deserves so much more praise!!

When Buffy goes this nuts you expect to see some acknowledgment of how completely insane they’ve gone, but this one makes the wild choice to try and play this entirely straight, which is a mistake, not least of which because this is a pretty gay show.

Three pieces of meat, a potato, hush puppies and coleslaw for 3.99 feels so far away from anything nowadays. I pay 3.99 for a single slice of pizza, and it’s not even good pizza. Still an insane commercial that seems to have decided that the primary customer for Arthur Treachers is the elderly.

It’s perfectly reasonable if you understand that the only thing that seemed crucial at this point was Mario himself and his general abilities.

Justin Harwood @sdhero.bsky.social · 21h

and it’s a different team, so they kept what WAS pretty well established as the formula, which is Mario hits bricks and jumps on enemies. There’s a mushroom and a fire flower. They send him to a new land with a new princess and hey what if the fire flower bounced?

I feel awful for anyone working there, but the plus side is that every move they make convinces me even more strongly that Skydance won't exist (like this) in two years.

Justin Harwood @sdhero.bsky.social · 22h

I feel like this is most of Ryan Murphy's output. Nip/Tuck was a very different show but it followed the same trajectory of going from sensationalist to unbelievably outlandish.

It's great to announce a game is coming exclusively to Netflix, because I can just tune out and pay no further attention to it. I mean, I have Netflix, but absolutely not.

You know the saying “only the good die young?” Well,

030

Oh yeah, absolutely, the only way I turn one of those down is if I’m just not wanting candy at all.

Justin Harwood @sdhero.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Yeah, Tootsie Rolls kinda have to hit me on the right day, sometimes they can be awesome, sometimes I have just one and I’m done. Fuck Jim Bakker for sure tho.

He gets coverage because he has spent years cultivating relationships with the media. No one else actually has any interest in the mam.

You should be asking why Rockstar gets to do this and doesn't run into any issues with payment processors, while the rest of anyone drawing or writing "explicit content" on any platform have so much trouble getting paid

Agreed, and I'm also not holding my breath on a health care plan, given he promised on "in two weeks" over six years ago now. Anyone who believes him ought to be given the same dementia test they keep giving Trump.

People will get upset about some post I never even saw, because I already blocked or muted whoever started some shit! Bluesky has its issues, but I have pretty much total control over what I see moment-to-moment.

Like yes, they're removing him from their platforms because he did an awful thing, but also because he lied about it by omission and isn't trustworthy as a result. There's no possibility to discuss his rehabilitation under those circumstances, not with those people.

She's conflating the consequences of what he did with the consequences of never disclosing this information to multiple business partners who run public facing, personality-focused sites/channels etc. The one obviously affects the other, but it's not as simple as she wants to make it.

1363

I really need to try that again, I found it fairly impenetrable around the release, and despite waiting for a re-release of some sort, it’s never materialized so.. Might as well go ahead.

000

I also love the animation for the intro, which involves a US Spaceman and a Russian Cosmonaut fighting over the moon, which turns out to have absolutely zero relevance to the actual plot of the film.

Having a rough day, so I’m winding up my day with one of my inexplicable favorite episodes of MST3K, “Moon Zero Two”. I say inexplicable because unlike a lot of other episodes, I’m not entirely sure why I like it, and it’s not remotely beloved.

130

No it’s all great, I can’t wait for the Ellisons to do a bunch of exciting new deals with Bankruptcy

030

It’s a symptom of current internet discourse where everything has to be distilled into two sides, one good, one evil. SE management sucks, so Nomura must be a perfect angel who never did anything wrong. Two things can be true!!

The first Peanuts strip by Charles M. Schulz was published on October 2, 1950.

Four black and white panels of a boy and girl sitting on steps.
1st panel: Charlie Brown is approaching and the boy says:
"Well! Here comes ol' Charlie Brown!"
2nd panel: As Charlie Brown passes, he says "Good ol' Charlie Brown...yes, sir!"
3rd panel: "Good ol' Charlie Brown..."
4th panel: Once Charlie is gone, "How I hate him!"

FYI: One of Tara's cats, Peggy, was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. That diagnosis was expensive. She's now going to be in palliative care for the next few weeks. Tara could use a hand.

This sucks for many reasons. But I think it's worth emphasizing how selfish and duplicitous it is to go work with a public-facing, community-focused media org like MinnMax without disclosing this part of your past to them. (MinnMax confirmed to me they were not told.) Please support them if you can

I just do not know how anyone supports this. And yet, here we are.

That explains a lot about how Ghost went completely off the rails.

022

It had to go way over what was normal (often bad CGI but way more than usual), but if I had to guess Toei thought it was worth it to still have a show coming out during the pandemic.

021

This was the Covid season, and you can totally tell. They did what they could, but filming restrictions made this season a mess and necessitated CG where it would never have been used otherwise.

321

Yeah, I love Larxene but she's in like 20 minutes of two games XD
