I haven't posted about them here, but a few weeks ago we got kittens! Brother and sister, about 15 weeks old now. Their names are Snufkin (red collar) and Little My (blue collar) (and if you get the names you're doing better than 99% of people I've told them to).

Apparently I won first place at the MN State Fair in the single piece jewelry competition?? I mostly submitted it because @czi.bsky.social wanted me to, and I DEFINITELY didn't let myself get my hopes up, so it's very surreal! But neat? The pendant in question:

I miss drawing so freakin' much. I still try sometimes, but it's like my creative well has been running on empty for about six years. The aquifer is drained. Blank pages just taunt me with my own lack of ideas, and on the off chance I DO have an idea, I can't execute it. Like I forgot how.

There was a point back in the early 2000s where Google Search became much less functional due to people figuring out how to game the algorithm. The Google engineers treated this as a major problem they needed to solve ASAP. Whereas with AI garbage they're the ones putting it in.
