Smotrich & Ben-Gvir aren't fringe Twitchers, they're senior cabinet ministers! Smotrich controls the Finance Ministry and has major authority over the West Bank, & Ben-Gvir runs the police ministry. Both are on the security cabinet, and their parties are crucial to Netanyahu's governing coalition.
“Abdul consistently judges pro-Israel Jews in Michigan, and the entire Zionist movement, by Israel’s most extremist elements, such as [Itamar] Ben-Gvir and [Bezalel] Smotrich,” Arbit said, referring to far-right ministers in Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s coalition, “yet gets very indignant when people judge him by the most extreme statements of Hasan Piker,” a Twitch streamer who has espoused antisemitic rhetoric and with whom El-Sayed campaigned during the primary.
“I have a huge problem with that hypocrisy,” Arbit added. “Should you judge a movement by its fringes or shouldn’t you? Which is it?”

Apparently Google has only partially updated its satellite photos of Gaza, so there are currently these weird images where whatever algorithm they use is utterly failing to blend before and after shots
Satellite image of two blended photos from above Gamal Abdel Nasser Street in Khan Yunis in central Gaza. The bottom half shows densely packed neighborhoods with, many of which appear to have sustained damage from aistrikes, with some small patches of trees. The top half shows continuations of the neighborhoods in the south, but with much of them now completely flattened to yellow sand and smudges of grey rubble. Google Maps pins indicate that this area contains 2 restaurants and 3 mosques.Satellite image of two blended photos of northern Gaza. The bottom half shows a small coastal farming community next to a blue sea, with multiple fields of crops visible. The top half gives way to fields completely packed with white and blue tents belonging to refugees.Image of three satellite photos of an area southwest of Gaza City. The bottom left corner shows small neighborhoods of white-roofed houses lined with green trees, giving way on the bottom right to flattened neighborhoods covered in rubble, red sand, and bulldozer tracks. The top half of the image is a wasteland of yellow sand and grey rubble from dozens of demolished buildings, including Google Maps pins for a mosque and an site marked UNRWA-GFO Two blended satellite photos of northeast Gaza, showing stands of green trees in the left half giving way to barren yellow sand marked by tree stumps and bulldozer tracks on the right.

Right now, the PA/Fatah supports a 2SS. Hamas (sort of) supports a 2SS. The Arab League supports a 2SS. The State of Israel unequivocally and very explicitly does not! If you think a 2SS is the best path forward, you need to be focused on bringing Israel in line with the international consensus.

Exceptional solidarity from ASU hockey players who have demanded their coach be placed on leave for essentially overseeing the murder of their teammate and have disputed the university’s findings. www.nytimes.com/athletic/764...
Seven Arizona State men’s hockey players asked the university’s president to place the Sun Devils’ coaching staff on administrative leave pending further investigation into the workout that left sophomore transfer Matthew Mayich on life support.

In a 26-page letter sent to ASU president Michael Crow on Monday and obtained by The Athletic, the players disputed numerous findings from the university’s initial review of the Aug. 20 workout, writing that Mayich did not receive water and was provided inadequate medical care after his collapse.
