Do you remeber when Bruce Dern hosted a show on the Car Network (whatever that was called) where he showed car-related movies while driving around LA in a convertible, yelling at people? It was fantastic. That’s where I first saw The Driver (1978) which was important for me, criminally.

I lost the skeet but someone asked about tv quotes you use a lot. Numbers was a great show for dorks because where else do you see math and computers and maniacs every week but even Homer nods. We use this to avoid explaining things properly which always a good way to buy time.

Reality TV is the worst. I tried to watch the first episode of The Traitors. I don’t know any of those people. I realize this is now a culture. I lost interest, radically, halfway through. Just when they are racing to save the ‘buried alive” people. And I’m a fan of what’s-his-face Nightcrawler guy.

Appellate briefing has changed how I read many books. Today, I was on book 2 of this 3-book series & just wanted to know how it ended, so I skipped other epilog of book 3. Now, I’m now listening to the chapters in reverse order. I like knowing the ending and only then seeing how the story got there.

I just did this and I am a registered voter with active status in California. There is other data there too. It took five minutes. You need your DL number and SS number. You can sign up for ballot tracking. (Don’t forget to vote NO on 39, which is Trump / Republican voter intimidation bullshit.)
