As an SoA member I am so disappointed to read this. How can there be ethical use of AI when the environmental concerns are so vast, it's trained on work that has been stolen from creators, and its existence moves creativity towards homogenisation, not diverse expression. This isn't the way.

We did a big festival shop once and someone offered to help carry the stuff to our car, asked if we were going to the festival (which was a ten hour drive away), and when we confirmed, he told us when his band was playing and if we wanted to drop by, that'd be neat

Just had my groceries delivered by a national-level volley ball player, who drives for a big well-known orange-branded supermarket to make money. Gosh it's fun talking to people. I really like them. Very interesting most of the time if you just ask a couple of questions.
