Digital drawing of the sun and earth, both of which have faces, The earth is in front of the sun, looking mad and saying "don't talk to me or my sun ever again". The sun is behind the earth looking cheeky and poking its fingers together shyly. The background is a wobbly dark blue shape with stars like SPAACE

Silicon Valley’s alliance with Donald Trump was a mask off moment and showed the world we can’t depend on US tech companies. For the past few months, I’ve been trying to get off US tech and I put together a guide so you find alternatives too. I hope you find it helpful!

I am proud to be affiliated with FIRE. This is an obvious and necessary outcome in a free society, such as ours — daily under threat at the moment.

In my first week at Kentucky I requested a faculty carrel at the main library. The library is still one of my preferred places to read and write.

May 20 is World Bee Day. There are about 20,000 different bee species in the world. Here in Ontario we have at least 400 native bees (none of which are the European honeybees). Bees are key to pollination. According to the UN nearly 90% of the world’s wild flowering plant species depend, entirely, 🧵

Teaching the HEARTS module this month! HEARTS is an incredible module that focuses on relationship safety & boundaries as opposed to “niceties“ like eye contact or not fidgeting. Its a great way to teach relationship skills & I can’t wait to stand in the teaching position! www.bu.edu/sargent/abou...
