Almost 2 months since surgery. Still get tired easily sometimes, but the incisions are just pink marks now, and the soreness has been trending better if a little unevenly. Thinking about never having a period again is like the feeling after I had top: finally, this suits me. I'm looking ahead.

I got to go to the Pokémon Center in NYC for the Pokémon Colosseum release party because I qualified for and took a scholarship exam and scored well enough to win a full 4-year ride to the private (Catholic) area high school of my choice. My dad took me on the trip as a reward and blew my tiny mind.

Some sketchbook pages from last month contemplating the beautiful medieval manuscripts I got to see this summer. I think I'll be revisiting that inspiration for a while!

3 weeks & change out from surgery, I'm not really in much pain but I am definitely Very Aware of my insides and anything in the neighborhood of the removed organ. Inflammation takes a long time to calm. Incisions looking good though I still have some stitches sticking out I wish would dissolve!
