I'm proud of my three collections of ghost stories and weird fiction, not least because together they've apparently created a sense of what Newmanesque might mean. Get them here: www.amazon.co.uk/stores/Ray-N...

Municipal Gothic (black, yellow, brutalist tower block); Intervals of Darkness (black, red, illustration of a mysterious void); Thin Places in Hard Concrete (pink and pale blue, floating brutalist staircase). There books, 37 stories.

Many years ago I thought mixing cream into a setting strawberry jelly would make a nice creamy desert for the then toddlers. And meat-baby was born. For the same toddlers 17th birthday, they’ve asked that I make another one…

A strawberry jelly with curdled cream set into it in the shape of a happy sloth. The curdled mixture has set to look just like shiny meat.

Nap Comix #433 It's hard when you just really want your bum out. This one is quite long so it might be easier to read it on Weboon (for free) here: www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/na... #NapComix

Panel 1)
Caption: Henry was having some big feelings about getting dressed after swimming. Despite a shower, a good drying off, and a snack, he still didn't want to get dressed.

Panel 2)
Henry: I want to have my BUM OUT!
Rachael: Mate, we need to wear clothes to go outside. And we need to go outside because daddy's picking us up!

Panel 3)
Henry just screaming.

Panel 4)
Caption: Other women in the room were giving me 'those' looks that I think are meant to say 'we've all been there'.

Panel 5)
Caption: But to me in the moment just said 'wow, i'm glad my kid isn't like that.'

Panel 6)
Blur them out, Rachael, they are not important right now....Henry is.

Panel 7)
Who is now rolling around in a puddle and screaming.

Panel 8)
Rob looking immaculate, getting out of his car. He's whistling.

Panel 9)
Rob: Ah, there you both are! How was sw-

Panel 10)
Rob seeing us properly.
Rob: -Ah.

Panel 11)
Cut to me and Henry looking like we've been pulled through an underwater bush backwards. By Jaws.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

TODAY I LEARNT SOMETHING GENUINELY IMPORTANT! If you need to move a snail (like, to prevent it getting trodden on), don’t just pick it up by its shell because that stretches and hurts them! 😭😭😭 Instead, gently tap its shell so it first retracts inside. Then you can lift it without hurting it ❤️

UK press is bound by strictly ignored by the far-right rules on what can be reported on election days, so dogs at polling stations is a Brit tradition. Compared to shifty shenanigans from Яeform and 80%+ of UK media, Babs is not engaging in election interference. Thank you for your service, Babs.
