I fixed a small issue in @ardentseas.bsky.social today: These missile icons didn't get the right color - they were always green. Now enemy missiles are red and friendly missiles are green. #gamedev #gameart #gameui #gamecoding

These are black and rufous elephant shrews (Rhynchocyon petersi) at the Hertfordshire Zoo via their FB. In Bantu, they're called "sengi". These little guys were born February 2026 & are joining mom & dad in foraging for morio worms (beetle larvae). Let's talk about these weird little guys.

Command & Conquer One of the greatest franchises ever, dying the most undignified death possible; as a shitty mobile game. Still have many a fond memory of lan parties, or lugging my PC over to a friend's attic so a few of us could play multiplayer while saying up all hours. It was magic.
