Many of you will know that I have kept my real identity shtum - this has been the case now since July 2023. I’ve gone back and forth on whether to change that. More than once. There’s a version of this where I just carry on as I have been. It’s been easier, in a lot of ways.

And nor should it. Farage is a dangerous racist and yet is being fast tracked into No.10 on a ruinous populist agenda, funded by shady right wing money and malign foreign interests. People must know who and what they are voting for. That’s the very lowest bar in a democracy.

Quick analysis of The Times today: Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform. Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

The only reason Gill stopped being the Reform UK leader in Wales was because he failed to win a seat in the 2021 Senedd election. Zia Yusuf keeps trying to make this sound like this is ancient history, and Reform washed their hands of him, but nothing is further from the truth.
