Yeah absolutely. For me it's also all the other issues like environment, theft, etc. But what's super frustrating is being made to use it and then trying to fix or live with all the issues in the output. It's the worst.

Yeah it really sucks trying to find jobs that aren't expecting you to use AI, especially if they're creative-type things. Took me a while to find something that specifically didn't want you using AI to write. And then less than a year later, AI increasingly being integrated anyways, wheee

FINALLY FINISHED!! Behold, my entry for this year's @desertbus.org : A Hollow Knight/Silksong bug mask display! The masks are made of porcelain, with some thread for Lace. I stained, varnished, and lined the wooden display cabinet myself. The masks are attached by magnets. I hope folks like it!

So on one hand, the Switch 2 is very expensive, and on the other hand I suspect I'd have a hard time even getting a preorder of the shiny new Zelda version of it before they sell out, so...I guess I'll probably be financially responsible whether I want to or not. :P

Guess what's finished! I suppose I should share a full view of it here now, huh? Here it is before and after adding backstitch outlines. I don't often use much backstitch for these pieces, but this one definitely needed it.

The same image as in the previous picture, but now there are outlines adding more detail. The bark of the trees has texture, the flowers have more definition, and the fairy's wings have visible veins.

Getting there! Which is good because the @desertbus.org craft deadline is also getting entirely too close. Gonna see if I can get this finished and off to the framer before I start cat-sitting in a week and a half (there are some more odds and ends left to do besides just the head).
