A few thoughts on UDL 3.0. The UDL guidelines are a useful resource, in need of critical consideration, but also not the only way to "do" Universal Design in teaching. This is framed around university group work, but has strong applications for 7-12th grade group work, too. Planning for neurodiversity is so much better than trying to cobble things back together after something goes wrong. I love the "what if" considerations at the end.
