Good grief. I’m not sure she’s thought this through. Unless, of course, she actively *wants* allies & enemies to believe that she would happily order the British military to commit war crimes.

Brexit is the toxic epicentre of the political shitshow we now have to endure. It promoted idiocy and deceit, endorsed racism, divided us, made us poorer, weaker, less safe and less sane. It’s belittled the country, killed the Tory party and given birth to Reform. A relentless klaxon of failure.

this is very awkward for Kemi Badenoch
George Parker and David Sheppard in London and Andres Schipani in New Delhi
Published 13 MINUTES AGO
Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has been accused by Indian officials of talking
"rubbish" after she denounced the "two tier" tax arrangement at the heart of the UK/India trade deal negotiated by Sir
Keir Starmer.
New Delhi officials insist Badenoch agreed the principle of giving Indian employees in the UK relief from Britain's national insurance levy during her time as business and trade secretary in the last Tory government.
"It's amazing," said one senior Indian official. "It was on the table when she was trade secretary."

Cummings meets Farage to discuss remaking the state — and how to replace the Tories
The Vote Leave strategist has been talking to the Conservatives' rivals and some believe a pact with the party - minus Kemi Badenoch
— is the only way to unseat Labour

Cartoon of Cummings riding horse Farage to election victory Extract from article:
This weekend it can be revealed that a significant number of senior Conservatives are concluding that if Sir Keir Starmer, the current favourite to win the next election, is to be stopped, Farage is the horse they will have to put their money on. MPs, donors and former party aides have been meeting in secret to draw up a campaign to "Unite the Right",
", with even moderate Tories now prepared to see Farage as prime minister to stop Labour.
