But social problems are purposeful choices. There are no easy answers. I grew up hungry because society wanted hungry children to exist - my suffering was to some real or imagined benefit. You cannot simply swap out this system of faith for one of truth. Human perception is misaligned.

Psychology and epistemology are annoying to people. Generally, humans want to believe that the world has easy answers and that we can solve it. They do not want to confront their own deep inability to understand.

The point of capitalism is observably to create regular market failures so that everything goes to shit. This allows the very rich to consolidate more wealth. Allowing people to have money actually destroys capitalism, as it is based on stark inequality. The children MUST starve.
