To celebrate all the recent love for #Hoi and #MoonChild, I fired up @aseprite.org to create some new Hoi and MC pixel art, for the first time in ± 30 years. 😃💚 For the scenery, I used my tiles for the Amiga version, combined with the Windows version's mountains and night sky background.

You're kinda throwing the baby out with the bathwater here. There are two complete trilogies and they're both excellent; the new one isn't continuing from any cliffhangers or anything. If it's not your thing then fair enough, but I'd still recommend trying them!

Most social media platforms train you to frame your opinion in the nastiest, most aggressive way possible. Being an asshole is incentivized and rewarded. Nuance and kindness are algorithmically punished. It's not just Twitter, but this is what I mean when I say I can tell who's still on Twitter.

Nah. I think their mergers and acquisitions stance is still pretty clear, even with the handful of exceptions in recent years. I think they'd be much happier sub-licensing than being on the hook for such a PC-centric franchise too.

(I misremembered this in my rage-induced fugue btw; the Roblox experience *was* called Forsaken. And of course every MMO that's ever used the term "Forsaken" for some expansion pack is in there too. Annoying!!)

Google search for "forsaken rebate offer" (vague terms I know, but you gotta start somewhere). It's a bunch of sites offering codes for some unrelated Roblox experience of the same name, followed by Reddit threads talking about a Destiny 2 expansion pack and all kinds of other crap. Frustrating!!

Anyway if you've been wondering why I've been so quiet lately, this is mostly it. I have been quietly steaming on a high boil for far too long about my life becoming more and more uncomfortable and frankly, I worry about the outlets I'm finding for it. Something's gotta change, man.
