Choosin Texas and Stella Lefty's Boston feel like they exist in a sort of cultural dark matter permeating the fabric of the zeitgeist yet entirely invisible to me. America B feels too proximate and tangible, this is like America C or D to me.

On the other site, an insurance startup that employs a lot of extremely minor E-list influencers for GTM is catching flack because one of the influencer employees called a woman a bitch and other such profanities.

He is right. Getting fired for misgendering your trans coworkers is more of a detriment to some people than the collapse of American democracy is. That is a true statement. That's how a lot of people vote lol.

kids today are literally confused about whether "partying" was real or an urban legend
From Reddit:

> Did millennials really party all the time?

> Gen Z here. I was shocked when I found out from a millennial co-worker that y’all had teen clubs. I heard about house parties, but dedicated teen clubs? Then when it was time for college, you went to the club or had some kind of party every single weekend, living it up. Now some millennials on TikTok claim that after college, they were partying on work nights, still clocking in the next day. For some reason, the teen clubs have since disappeared. I’m 23 now but even when I was in high school, that was not a thing. House parties were not that common either. They were more like get togethers with a small group of friends. We went to malls, but they were dying out at that point. Is it true that you were really living life this good? Or is it just exaggerated? I feel like my generation doesn’t really have fun like that and everyone is just super depressed and alone, more so since Covid. Even I’m pretty introverted, which sort of sounds ridiculous given this post. 😂 Just so you know, when I think of a “millennial party” I think of something out of Party Rock Anthem, Project X or Roderick’s party from the second DOAWD movie. It’s like I get nostalgia from something I didn’t even live through. I just feel like I didn’t really LIVE, if that even makes sense

learned what Frechet inequalities are today and I'm really mad because this Frechet guy was born in 1878. Euler and Gauss did superhuman work predating this guy's birth and this guy has a concept named after him that is so obvious that I didn't know it even had a name.

Video games are incredibly underpriced, and the stinginess of gamers is a big reason why so much of the industry is slop and why game development is a terribly underpaid career. Adjusted for inflation, Mario World 3's MSRP of $49.99 in 1990 is equivalent to $128 today. We must retvrn.

i don't want to say that i know for sure that platner is a bad drunk but a guy who identifies as a Man of Violence and has a history of extremely bad judgment while loaded is going to have a worse story than a bad skull tattoo

Is it even possible for a Democratic politician to have both working class and elite appeal? Picture unrelated not sure how it ended up here.

Platner should drop out obviously but bigger picture I don't know how you balance out the fact that the median voter in swing states is a lumpenprole mildly racist loser who vote based on the beer question and the fact that the candidates who appeal to them are by and large also losers.

I have edited a lot of sexual-assault-accusation articles, and this one easily clears every veracity check: contemporaneous emails with her therapist, a boyfriend who knew, a woman she warned—all before Platner ran for office. Good on Politico for nailing it, and on Jenny Racicot for speaking up.

Exclusive: Woman who dated Graham Platner says he sexually assaulted her
The Maine Democrat denied the allegations and said, “Any accusation of non-consensual behavior is categorically untrue.”

One must imagine that the Declaration of Independence would have been signed electronically had the technology existed. And Nick Cage would have never been able to steal it with Docusign's enterprise grade security and encryption.

This is why I wake up in the morning. Myopic critics pan my life's work as just building some SaaS company. But how many SaaS's have been instrumental to matters of war and peace? Without Docusign, thousands more would needlessly die. At Docusign, we are literally saving lives.

Unless the Sharia law compliant S&P500 ETF also waives its rules (and hopefully the word of God is more timeless than the S&P500's index inclusion criteria), then this is one way to avoid SpaceX IPO exposure. Alhamdulillah

the stock market is funny because the largest global supply chain shock since a deadly worldwide pandemic is worth -0.2% but a single blog post speculating about a new technology can stone cold stunner SaaS companies -50%.

so Theophite leaves Google and then just a few months later they have a massive Gemini related security fiasco (wrt leaky project scoped API key permission boundaries) that seems to be from poor but deliberate decisionmaking with a concerning fact pattern. Coincidence?

K-pop outperformed the vast majority of companies in the S&P 500 in 2025. You would currently be 63% richer if on January 1st 2025, you bet the house on BTS and NewJeans.
