Ryan Markham-Platta @ryanmarkatta82.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I feel like the Kokiri Forest and young Link definitely look a bit funky, but the trailer showing the rest of the game has given me a little more hope 001

Ryan Markham-Platta @ryanmarkatta82.bsky.social · 16/05/2026I think it was in the first couple issues of the Superboy stuff, he mentions his parents needing to explain it to his grandparents 100

That kind of power—to void gender on official documents, to compel gender conformity—is terrifying and it will not stop here. 030361290

Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants 335146705195

After all, we’ve had a long period where the default cultural teaching was that most people are trying their best to be good people. And suddenly we’re in a world where the opposite is openly encouraged. 5603145
Ryan Markham-Platta @ryanmarkatta82.bsky.social · 12/06/2025I really enjoyed "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" and it references a ton of his movies, which I feel would be poetic 040

Ryan Markham-Platta @ryanmarkatta82.bsky.social · 27/01/2025What I mean is it would have been better recieved as an elseworlds. The specific story he wanted to tell didn't give much room for a full cinematic universe which is what WB wanted or for it to feel like the comics. But again, different strokes 050
Ryan Markham-Platta @ryanmarkatta82.bsky.social · 27/01/2025I get that, but the general theme was still very dark and gloomy. Not saying everything needs to be super happy and cheery or that things can't get serious, but Superman should have a more positive vibe. It would have been fine for an elseworlds, but as the main universe it didn't work for me. 081
Ryan Markham-Platta @ryanmarkatta82.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Eh, Snyders films were very doom and gloom, which is fine for certain characters but not all. Though I will say that, if it wasn't supposed to be the MAIN DC universe I think his movies and plans for the universe would have been better received and a neat concept for an elseworlds story. 091
Ryan Markham-Platta @ryanmarkatta82.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Gonna have to agree to disagree on that one. As much as I love Cavill, I didn't enjoy any of Snyders DC stuff 0111
Ryan Markham-Platta @ryanmarkatta82.bsky.social · 27/01/2025To be fair, we haven't had an actual Superman movie in like 10 years 0110
