Just got finished reading BATMAN: THE DETECTIVE (2021) by Tom Taylor @tomtaylormade.bsky.social, Andy Kubert, & Brad Anderson: Very cool Mini Series! I've got a new favorite Bat-Costume, and I really dig Knight & Squire. Great hook for a new Villain, too. Highly recommended! #ComicSky

BATMAN: THE DETECTIVE #1 (2021) - Taking place in London, Batman wears a special costume that keeps him warm and just looks amazing. I love the heavy jacket/pants, goggles, and chunky gloves & boots!

Batman with the new Squire, Amina Eluko! Knight (Beryl Hutchinson) was severely injured, so she sends Squire out to help Bruce. She's pretty great.

Batman cuffed to a table while being attacked by the Series' Villain, EQUILIBRIUM! I can't get into too much detail without spoilers, but she could be a great new addition to the Rogues Gallery!

Another look at the "London" Costume! Andy Kubert & Brad Anderson just killed it on this Series. Stellar artwork throughout!

A word from Batman. We have Detective Comics 1113 out today, continuing the Batman: Bad Seeds event. The brilliant Jeff Spokes joins us on art as Batman tries to save the people of Gotham from the orders of a corrupt and cruel police commissioner.

Too many people are voting for @gailsimone.bsky.social in the 38 most influential Bluesky posters of 2026. Bears should not be allowed to have so much influence. If this continues, we could all be persuaded to steal picnic baskets and keep marmalade sandwiches under our hats.

Spolier for Batman annual Sept. 2026, feat. Lobo, by @tomtaylormade.bsky.social. Any resemblance to real bastiches, living or dead, is purely coincidental?

Batman telling an alien, "Your president is a deeply, deeply unpopular person. He would have been voted out of power soon, so he did something that is all too common in worlds and nations beyond this one. What so many pathetic dictators have done when they feel threatened. He hurt the people and blamed an outsider for their pain. He created a common enemy and manufactured a war with a technologically weaker foe that could have cost billions of lives. All because his ego couldn't handle how utterly despised he is."
