Early airport drop means a sunrise run at ȽÁU,WELNEW (Tlay-will-nook), the high point of land that enabled the W̱SÁNEĆ people to survive the great flood. Here, the stories tell the ancestors were able to tie their canoe to an arbutus tree with a giant cedar rope, until the floodwaters subsided.
