Saw Resident Evil last night. Fucking loved it. Thought it was super fun, like watching someone play an RE game.

Halo and Rare folded into Activision. Ninja Theory dying, with Arkane on the way. Playground and Turn 10 consolidating. Obsidian is now a Bethesda support studio. This fucking sucks.

Not gonna mention them specifically but man the worlds revealed for Kingdom Hearts 4 in that Steam leak feel like they were directed specifically at me. Can’t wait to see what they look like.

Metroid Ravenous looks rad as fuck, dude. Pretty happy I hopped on the Switch 2 train this year. Good stuff’s been dropping at a steady click, I’m very satisfied with it so far.

GTA 6 ending its showcase with “Captured on PS5” is such a flex. I think regardless of whether the gameplay is for you or not, there’s no denying this game looks insane. Hair physics and clothing textures, reflections in glasses, sweaty Latinas in the clurb, it all looks bonkers.

For the life of me, I can’t get into The Witcher 3. Feels awful to control, and combat is jank and unsatisfying. It’s a shame, because the writing and performances are awesome, but constantly wrestling the game over the controls just makes me not want to engage at all.

Brand New Day is a great Spider-Man movie, man. Didn’t have that usual smell of an MCU movie, it just felt like a Spidey story. Loved pretty much everything about it, I think that’s easily Holland’s best one. Can’t wait to watch it again!

Halo Campaign Evolved is actually sick as fuck. Running co-op on Legendary with my boys felt great, just like it did back then but with a fresh new coat of paint. Discovering all of the new stuff together is a blast, can’t wait to finish it up and do some skull hunting.

I feel like iD deserved more flowers for the black magic they pulled off with the iD Tech engine. We should have been talking about it the same way we marvel at Capcom’s RE Engine. What a shame, man. I can’t believe Microslop let most of that team go.
