Halo and Rare folded into Activision. Ninja Theory dying, with Arkane on the way. Playground and Turn 10 consolidating. Obsidian is now a Bethesda support studio. This fucking sucks.

“Activision will be making the next Halo title”

Chris LaPack @rumblepack92.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Man this is just low, even for you. Desperate for clicks that bad, are we?

The refs called this “down by contact” to avoid Indy losing the game

This game is a 10/10 for me. Threads the needle between fresh and familiar, and is still to this day my favorite adaption of Peter Parker. I’ll load this one up every now and then just to swing around NYC; the “it makes you FEEL like Spider-Man” meme exists for a reason.

The camaraderie of Chiefs games I something I really miss about KC. They live for that team out there, even when we’re trash.

Yes, hello, is this the We’re So Fucking Back Department? Calling to inquire about the Kansas City Chiefs.

This Kenneth Walker guy might be pretty good

Dropping people right in the middle of such an insane couple of months for gaming is such a bonkers decision. Plus; Seth? Altano?? What are they thinking???

Chris LaPack @rumblepack92.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Not gonna mention them specifically but man the worlds revealed for Kingdom Hearts 4 in that Steam leak feel like they were directed specifically at me. Can’t wait to see what they look like.

That might be on me; I was thinking February but I might have got wires crossed on when they usually do their Pokemon Presents

Metroid and Pokemon both super early is such a great way to kick off ‘27. Switch 2 looking really solid these days.

Chris LaPack @rumblepack92.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Metroid Ravenous looks rad as fuck, dude. Pretty happy I hopped on the Switch 2 train this year. Good stuff’s been dropping at a steady click, I’m very satisfied with it so far.

Chris LaPack @rumblepack92.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Link’s tunic is significantly busier than every other characters’ outfit, but the rest looks great imo. The faces didn’t really even bother me, just that Link sticks out like a sore thumb.

I think it both looks awesome and also like all of the Unreal 5 fan remakes and my brain won’t settle on one or the other

This shit means something to me, man.

lmaooooooo this has to be a joke, ain’t no way this is actually DLSS 5

Chris LaPack @rumblepack92.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

As a big fan of RDR2, I think I’m the most excited for the little RPG elements added to this. The slice of life bits where they’re working out or pulling drinks from the fridge intrigued me so much more than the car chases and whatnot (though those were all rad too)

GTA 6 ending its showcase with “Captured on PS5” is such a flex. I think regardless of whether the gameplay is for you or not, there’s no denying this game looks insane. Hair physics and clothing textures, reflections in glasses, sweaty Latinas in the clurb, it all looks bonkers.
