Yup, for me, it's emotional exhaustion. Putting lots of effort in over the year can be tough. I like to cook some complicated stuff to get my mind into a different space and go to the gym and lift heavy weights.

Writing tip: Give your protagonist a pet cat. In the final pages, shift to the cat's point of view. Follow the cat outside, through moonlit woods, to a pasture where cows kneel in worship around a glowing spacecraft. As the cat trots up its gangway, we glimpse in the windows an all-cat crew.

Three regular hexagons. The smallest has area 6. What’s the pink area? #geometrypuzzle
Two corners of the large yellow hexagon, and one corner of each of the other two hexagons, lie on the circle. All the hexagons are regular.

Giving Braverman the education brief is quite a choice for Reform. I was on an education commission with her once before she went completely mad and she knew absolutely nothing at all.

Ok, I better read this. Everything I've read in teaching discusses the differences of the brains of teenagers

What are you arguing about it for? Your complaint is that the ban isn't long enough? It's harmful and please don't tell me the adolescent brain is the same as the adult brain, that's simply wrong.

Lots of evidence that the rise in self-reported mental health issues by adolescents maps onto the rise of use of social media

Absolutely. The reality for teachers can be miserable. I know more than one teacher who is off sick at the moment because of the behaviour of a tiny minority of students. That's the reality.

14. Argh one more - we should also be mindful that if schools become more disrupted, less calm, more uncertain they will be environments which more and more children and adults find unpleasant - we could get into a cycle of worse attendance and behaviour as a result.

Absolutely. There will be a significant minority of students in huge numbers of schools, including 'Outstanding' schools who go round deliberately ruining lessons, ruining the chances of other students and damaging the health of teachers. That's the truth.
