Dividends paid to UK citizens taxed at rates of 8.75% to 39.35%, lower rate than wages.
Dividends mostly go to the top 1%.
£6bn a year raised if dividends taxed at the same rate as wages. More if NIC levied.
Unlike the US, France, Germany, no UK tax levied on dividends paid to foreign investors.
