Go vote. Prepare yourself for it not to matter. But do it anyways.

They do not intend to go down without a very literal, very real, and very violent fight. And we all kinda need to be ready for that.

This is a play for when the midterms are a catastrophic loss, they can just go "fuck you we ain't leaving" and everybody who might stand up for the constitution will already have been purged. apnews.com/article/hegs...

All of human society, technology, and scientific advancement is built on the solid foundation of people being able to agree on what they observe. Experiencing life through a digital media lens means you can no longer trust... life. And that lens can, and will, be manipulated.

JFC, fuck this. A/B testing has value, but this crosses the line into blatant social manipulation. When two people see different videos *at the same URL*, you're effectively gaslighting your entire user base. www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1q-...

Instead of individual people receiving the money, they're giving the money to an institution (a company or a government) with the promise of returns. US bonds, in a very real sense, fuel the entire American economy.

rossipedia @rossipedia.com · 29/09/2026
A bond is a reverse loan. "You give me X dollars, I'll return that amount plus interest after [n] years" When the rate goes up, it means that people are selling them, because math. Higher rates -> harder to borrow -> less spending -> economic slowdown -> recession -> depression

I've found it to be measurably worse in just understanding the words. I have little kids and for the life of me I cannot get new Siri to understand that I'm saying the word "tickles" and not "pickles" :table-flip:

There's a visceral reaction to looking down a dimly lit subway car and watching a dark blob stand up and then start shambling towards you, all while making those god-awful moans. It's like you're directly in a sci-fi horror movie. Had to put it down for a while.

I’m just not convinced that I need an agent to help run my digital life. It’s got such a small interface with my irl life, and I’m not doing that much with my digital life to warrant an agent. It’s just not appealing to me to have a computer telling me what to do and doing things on my behalf.
