I have my Trap Door Dress which I now feel I should change into to celebrate this! It’s covered in eyes!
Me in a black dress whose pattern is actually a whole loads of eyes straight out of the intro sequence for Trap Door!

A mocked up Facebook status for SecUnit (name redacted) with an avatar (profile pic) that is a SecUnit helmet

The “people with” part has also been redacted

Status reads “ (Emotion check: Shrug sigil right back at you, you piece of shit.). “

David Dastmalchian is the absolutely perfect choice! I was a big fan of Book Gurathin so nervous about who they’d get to play him—and Dastmalchian was amazing! Brilliant take on the character! Then I discovered his wonderful passion for comics—from Count Crowley to The Accessories… PERFECT

Unless the poem has been written for performance, poets should never read their poems out loud. No, nor actors neither. 90% of all poems should exist solely between the page and the reader.

Yeah—my concern is that the response isn’t what you’d expect if the scientist did actually die of pneumonic plague… I literally said to my mother: “If it‘s pneumonic plague I’m not at all worried!” So, why are they so worried? Ugh I hope this is just a scare

This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead

And Jeannette proves you can save your past self! She goes and saves her parents AND past her! Anyway—the film is bleak as hell No one in this suburbia tries to help their neighbours—they just watch them get eaten by poorly realised dinosaurs It’s a horrible film. Did not like 1/10

It’s also so FUCKING BLEAK! The lead character is just…mean and nasty? You don’t love your husband and children? Tell them? Leave? Be kind to them and yourself. She is just cruel (which, okay—I could live with!) BUT the way it deals with the time travel issue? Do they want you to hate her? 3/

4th October… Slightly SPOOKY theme developing This is my very pretty skulls and ravens dress
Me in my Elsie Vintage Halloween dress:
Set against a rich black background, this beautifully intricate print brings together ornate florals, trailing foliage, decorative skulls and mysterious owls in muted shades of sage, ivory, dusky pink and antique gold. Inspired by vintage botanical illustrations with a wonderfully gothic twist, it’s a Halloween print that feels elegant rather than overtly spooky – perfect for wearing well beyond October.
The much-loved Elsie silhouette features a flattering faux-wrap neckline, fitted waist and sleek pencil skirt designed to celebrate your curves. A statement waterfall ruffle falls from the right hip, bringing softness and movement to the fitted shape and showing off even more of the wonderfully detailed print.

The Ark in Space (Doctor Who) which I watched when I was four and which utterly terrified me—even though I could see the special effects looked like bubble wrap painted green… Decades later I showed the episode to my own children They were gratifyingly traumatized en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ark...
Scene from 1975’s Ark in Space with a man being attacked by green bubble wrap

It’s hard to explain how scary this episode is, and despite now being a properly middle aged adult the episode still holds its own as far as I am concerned

I remember crying on the stairs
