The boy did make me sit through the Thriller video last week. First time I have ever wanted MORE MJ music. 🤷🏻‍♂️ He did try to claim "Someones watching me" for Jackson. Had to have some stern words at that stage.

The Jackson one? Dodged it. I think my grandson got hit with the tailend of the marketing campaign. He's MJ (Billie Jean) for Halloween now. I would intervene, but he is enjoying it too much, and he's so cute with it

Of course, more stars than people "experience the universe" (and in a completely different way from people) but, for me, "consciousness" is about something deeper, and probably more related to knowledge and planning than the panpsychics believe.

I can't accept panpsychicism. Consciousness is the universe's way of experiencing itself etc etc, and if it's just rocks (or stars or electrons or whatever ) doing that, it takes away from what our consciousness represents. All IMO, of course. Also, not religious.

Fire fulfills some of the "life" requirements - consumes food, reproduces etc. - but not consciousness IMO. Although the panpsychics believe that everything is conscious to a certain degree. For me, if everything is conscious, nothing is.
