Was asked to build something the other day. A quick think about how it could be coded and i estimated about a week and a half. But I wasn't happy how complex and cumbersome that plan was. Did nothing on it for 2 days. Was walking around on the street, had a better idea. Thing was done the next day.

My favourite band of all time is Pink Floyd. I usually don't have an answer for the "what's your favourite ___?" But in music Pink Floyd is there. Been going through a rabbit hole of watching people discover their albums through reaction videos, amazing to see someone listen to it first time.

I did a thing. It was quite fun. It's a CSS palette generator , where you can apply the generated palette to the app itself and see how it would looks in a real app. Pick base color and the app creates related colors. Adjust the colors. Export CSS. Or hit that one shot button, that the most fun.

Trying out oxlint and oxfmt. Really not having a good time with the linter and the formatter agreeing on how to sort imports. The linter gives a warning after the formatter sorts it. Also, it looks like its sorting based on the path instead of the name of the import?? Thats weird. @voidzero.dev

Screenshot from vscode with imports sorted by oxfmt. There is a FrequencyAnalyser import sorted between TransitionManager and WaveformController. The linter flags this. If we look at the import paths, it is sorted, but who wants to sort by path?

@polypane.app is amazing. I got the trial a couple days ago and it's already helped me fix a bug that's been on my backlog for weeks, and it was something that only happened on certain mobile devices I don't own to test on. It was a breeze fixing it today. I am definitely purchasing a license now.

Today was the first time i coded something agentically. Only used AI as autocomplete until now, for simple things. And only used it for something I thought I'd like to have, for my own use, so I don't care about code quality.
