I plan to mostly post about game design along with other various life things on here :) Two of my fav in-dev games: Spy Moles, a roll-and-write played with invisible ink pens, and Dot Com, a frantic real-time economic strategy game

Science Museum, London SW7 AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SUITE #reference #propreference

This suite was operational from 1975 to 1992, controlling the airspace over the UK. It has been set up to show how the Dover sector display might look.
Although technology is a vital element of air traffic control the work of the controllers relies
by automating some of the routine tasks such as making radio contact and communicating with the pilots.
The upper radar screen shows the South East corner of England and English Channel. It also shows the control zones around Heathrow, Stansted and Luton airports to the north and Gatwick airport to the south.
on skilled human judgement and the controllers have to make informed split-second decisions.
Technology will play an increasingly important role in the future in preserving 'thinking time'
The illuminated maps show arrival and departure routes in this area.

Title art from "Tchia", by Awaceb, a BAFTA, Game Award, and G.A.N.G. Award-winning open-world adventure game set in a fantastical version of New Caledonia.
I had the privilege of composing its original score, designing its playable ukulele and rhythm-game sections, and composing a dozen original songs in French and Drehu with the lyrical assistance of Marilou Lopez-Aguilera. I also designed and implemented the interactive score in FMod.

Title art for “For The King II”, by IronOak Games. A fantasy turn-based, tabletop-inspired game.
I wrote a medieval/early music/renaissance-inspired score and worked with our own in-house Unity audio solution to implement it. It is currently nominated for three G.A.N.G. Awards for Best Music in an Indie Game, Best Original Song, and Music of the Year.

Title art for “Ambition: A Minuet in Power”, by Joy Manufacturing Co. A roguelike visual novel set in Paris on the eve of the French Revolution. I wrote hours of period music using a variety of historically-accurate ensembles, produced live out of piecemeal recordings recorded in home studios during the height of the pandemic, and implemented with sophisticated branching interactive paths in FMod to support the narratively-focused gameplay. We won an Indiecade Award for Excellence in Audio Design, and garnered three G.A.N.G. Awards nominations.

Title art for “Mythgard”, by Rhino Games. A mythologically-infused cyberpunk dystopian collectable card game, Mythgard won a G.A.N.G. Award for Best Original Soundtrack (and three other nominations), and features hours of cinematics and a custom-designed interactive music implementation solution that flexes from native-run executables on mobile and desktop devices to web-browser based play.

apropos of nothing, if you’ve never been to the japanese american national museum and you’re local to LA, i highly suggest visiting their permanent exhibition on internment camps. really read about the words/actions of the politicians who tried to justify their existence. People still remember.
