- Is there a way to see what monsters/other symbols are from a distance? I tried '/' (like Nethack) and 'x' (like Angband) - I love the mix of roguelike display and more sophisticated ASCII graphics, like getting an ascii picture of a lamp when you buy it

It's fun! I am much better at pointing out flaws than good points so please forgive that. I'll throw thoughts as I play (which will be in very sporadic sessions between other things.) - I don't care for the grainy visuals (maybe there's an option to turn them off that I haven't noticed yet?)
