I was a strong supporter of Cherlynn Stevenson (she would have been a great congressperson), and I dismissed Dembo out of hand when I heard about his campaign. He really impressed throughout. I don't always agree with DSA people but they are the hardest working part of the Democratic coalition. Also it helps if your main opponent had to resign in disgrace after a sexual abuse scandal. 030
