A couple quick thoughts as the Twins announce they're parting ways with Pete Maki and Luis Ramirez. First, on some level, it's unsurprising that if you finish 13th in the American League in runs allowed, there's going to be some evaluation of that.

There is a dude right in front of us angrily yelling at Shay Whitcomb after that strikeout, and he even added a boo. Shay Whitcomb is a 27 year old journeyman with almost 3000 Minor League PA who is probably like 5th on a depth chart of a healthy Giants team, playing for a team that's 65-92.
