These people should be in charge of nothing, maybe a hot dog stand; but certainly not the futures of children and young people. How many times must they say and do things like this because we stop allowing them to infect education with their technology?

At the time of the sentencing the judge who oversaw the case, Todd Lang, seemed to appreciate the use of AI.

"I loved that AI. Thank you for that. As angry as you are, as justifiably angry as the family is, I heard the forgiveness," judge Lang said. "I feel that that was genuine."

4-5 years ago there were MDs like Lucy McBride crowing about the urgency of normal, getting kids back to school. There were PR hacks like David Zweig supporting them. Now kids are being sent to immigration detention, getting measles & these folks are nowhere to be found. It was never about the kids.

What I think people need to take from JD is that he and others see the future of the party as a viciously, overtly racist Christian nationalist party and they are laying the groundwork to be successful in that future while Democratic consultants are stuck in the 90s.

A welcome change to see Dems go left on immigration, something Obama didn't do until pushed by DACA activists and Biden didn't either. We need to see a full-throated defense of immigration as a good thing, and not just on economic grounds. Talarico is doing that. Hope more Dems follow.
