I thought it would last a few months... Fast forward 4 years, and while the show may not've garnered any awards, I've had the pleasure of playing some great #electronicmusic , and chatting at length with a few heroes. Discussing Eurovision with Elizabeth Parker was a particular highlight! […]

Had a great morning at London's Museum of Brands (recommended by @RobertaFidora). They have lots of old radios, so obviously I was happy, but overall it's a great walk through 150 years of social history. I was particularly struck by the things that we think […] [Original post on mastodon.sdf.org]

My PeerTube instance has been down for a while due to some kind of internot obeah but, as is tradition, I burnt it to the ground and started over. All the old content, pirate radio tapes, inpc/Liotia music etc. will reappear in due course but also my follow lists are trashed so if you do take […]

My dad put his favourite mug in the dishwasher too many times so now it looks like he has a souvenir from the weirdest theme park ever.

A mug that used to read "The Best GRANDAD In The WORLD" but the writing has worn off so now it just says "GRANDAD WORLD". The mug is white with black text on it, on a wooden table.

Whoa! I did not expect to see 1880s/1890s Phillies baseball players in the #AnimationArray #NHAMFest26 special! This is left-handed catcher Jack Clements, who played for the Phillies from 1884-1897. Jack showed up in “Baseball Men” by @drivelsieve Go Phils! #RingTheBell

A vintage photograph of a young male baseball player in a posed stance, wearing a uniform with a cap, and preparing to catch a baseball. The image has a classic, sepia-tone appearance, emphasizing its historical context.

On top of Unstream now supporting true releases & release pages, I've started building out a Collection feature. Think of it like your Bandcamp or Mirlo collection but cross-platform - a way to show off music you own & the artists you've supported along the way. #musicsky #fairtrademusic
