Finally got cross-client login & sync working for Unstream! What this means: - anyone can create a user account on Unstream, not just artists - you can save artists you want to support on the web app, and those sync to your mac app / browser extension / other devices (1/2)

It seems that Bandcamp has changed something on their end which is blocking Bandcamp artist pages from showing in Unstream’s search results (unless you’ve verified your page or have data listed in the Musicbrainz database). I’m investigating some options to resolve this. Stay tuned.

Hot take: I'm not sure it's worth the trouble to "build hype" for a release, if you're small & unwilling to pay $$$ I don't mean this to poo-poo on traditional marketing for musicians - because it works! - but more to humor the idea of just releasing whenever something is done as a total surprise

A friend of mine asked if they could run Unstream anytime Spotify is playing – they kept forgetting to open it. Unstream has a setting where you can automatically open when you log into your Mac, but you can also use macOS Shortcuts to launch Unstream whenever you open Spotify or Apple Music. How:
