I met Stephen Glass at a wedding in 2000. It was memorable; later that afternoon, I met the man who would become my husband. We were telling our older daughter about this encounter and decided we should watch this movie. It's interesting. The cinematography, to me, was somewhat off.

People ask me for career advice a lot and I am not sure I have much because we all have our own paths but what I can say is that there are no shortcuts and you have to put in the work. Some people sail to the top quickly, but if they haven’t built a foundation, they won’t last long up there.
