NORCO is a beautiful, haunting, profoundly sad game. A story about grief: for people, places, and pasts-that-could-have-been. $5 is a steal

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

A casual Star Wars alien fella at the cantina, in a sun faded, reddish photo. Someone will be mad at me for not knowing who this is.

Phil, a balding Caucasian man, poses a model of the garthok, an antagonist from the Coneheads movie.

Phil, a balding caucasian man, points at some CG on a CRT computer monitor, as a younger man looks on. The screen shows a model of a dinosaur attacking a jeep, while there's an actual physical model of that event in the foreground for reference.

an isolated shot of a star wars vehicle. Sorry, I don't know star wars lol

Been revisiting Remedyverse stuff working up towards Resonant (maybe holiday sale) and back-to-back, the 7y between Nightmare & Control is *felt*. Control is just a joy in the hands on top of all its other delights. Resonant going melee character action does give me pause, but looking forward to it

An illustration fan art of Silksong's Hornet, from the Hollow Knight series, reimagined as a Kamen Rider. Hornet stands in Pharloom's Cradle with her Pale Hivesteel Needle, silk threads storming around her as she lands on the garden of pale flowers, the red dress is now a cloak that contrasts with the blue and white tones from her suit and the background. Hornet is in the Hunter Crest form, her suit is pale and patterned like her mask, the cavities between plates mimicking hunters eyes spread over her armor and mask, matching the Hunter Crest's six eyes visuals, as well as the shoulder pads having extra horns matching the Pale King and the Crest design. At last, Hornet's Rider Driver and Belt are the Hunter Spool and the HP interface adapted to her design.

“In that last moment she seemed as wholly luminescent as the Sun, and I wished to be so brave." — “The Heart of the Praxic Fire is the Guardian: without the Guardian, the Fire does not ask or act. Be the Fire, or be smoke on the wind.” Heulog-12, Exo Warlock #Destiny2Art

A drawing of Heulog-12 in the air casting her Dawnblade, stylized with bright colors: the backdrop is a purple gradient, with half-tone action lines pointing at the sword. An ink-brush-like set of flaming wings flanks her, which have a purple-to-red-to-orange-to-yellow gradient. The lighting is very stark, and is especially noticeable on her metallic gold Luxe Soles, the light from the blade playing across the highlights in soft glow. The blade itself is rimmed in stylised ink-brush yellow-to-red flames bursting from the center and causing faint coronal lens flares.

"But XIVU ARATH said, sister, I am already sharp, look, my sword cuts into another space. And she cut her way between moons through green fire and joyous screams." The Books of Sorrow — Verse 3:1 — an incision For #IshtarIllustratedvol2 by @ishtarillustrated.bsky.social ✨ #Destiny2Art

An illustration of Xivu Arath, the Hive God of War from the game Destiny 2. She is a skeletal, chitinous humanoid being with three glowing green eyes, and she is wielding a Hive sword, which is similarly chitinous. Her head is wreathed in both a yellow-green glow and a stylized iridescent brushstroke halo. She wears a long, flowing cloak that wraps around her and she sits upon a shattered rock floating in a violet space. Cascading from where her cloak would drape down her back, a black-and-green gash in space reveals an alternate un-space with its own strange stars. Flanking her are two columns of moons that are more shattered the lower they are in the composition.

Partners in Light I wanted to have art ready for today, something that would bear testimony to everything that this game has meant to me over the past 12 years: the world, the characters, the mystery, and the hope. What better vector to convey my love than these two? #D2Legacy #PerAudaciaAdAstra

A digital drawing of two original Destiny 2 characters: Heulog-12, an Exo Warlock, and Kysurax, a Lucent Hive Lightbearer Wizard, embracing in front of the Traveler. They are in casual summery wear, t-shirts, tanktops, and lower-body wraps, and both of them are wearing numerous bits of gold jewelry, largely in the form of piercings.

Digital painting portraying the Nintendo character Samus Aran, from the Metroid series, as a ravenous creature on top of a totem.
