The empire in question is called the "Knife-Blessed Truth," made up of a custom Necroid species called "Keshkk". They have the Necrophage origin, and the custom bio for them reads:

"We are the knife, and the universe's true shape will be found in the ragged impressions we leave upon it."

Their Arid homeworld is called "The Source". They are a Divine Empire with an Imperial Authority, (single absolute ruler with inherited rule) with the Imperial Cult and Philosopher King [sic, as all Keshkka are female] civics, which increase Edict budget/adds additional Priests (amenities + unity production) and increase the effective level of the Ruler (in this case, the God-Empress), respectively. The empires' ethics are Authoritarian, Xenophobe, and Spiritual.

The Keshkkiri species traits are Organic, Necrophage (population growth comes from conversion of a servile species, the Khoressha, not pictured here), Slow Breeders (they don't really reproduce through normal means anyway), Decadent (Elite- and Specialist-tier workers get bonuses while Worker-tier workers get negatives, but Keshkka do not work Worker jobs, that's the Khoressha's role in society), Talented (Leaders get bonuses). I don't necessarily remember off the top of my head, but I believe the off-screen ones are Charismatic (increased efficiency for "influential" jobs, the kind the Keshkka do) and Intelligent (increased Leader experience gain).

The words that assert that she, as a single unified force of will and body—in defiance of all existence—shall persist.

Heulog feels the thrumming slow, its rhythmic cadence aligning with her own deep breaths. She gently removes her hand from Kysurax’s torso and feels the Wizard’s arms close around her, pulling her into a tight embrace.

“I am afraid,” Kysurax finally says, calm returned to her voice. “But I temper that fear with the certainty that I will be alright, because you are with me.” She looks down at the Exo in her arms, into the starblue flames that are her eyes, and smiles. “I do not doubt, for I have seen your heart. As you have seen mine. That is the power intrinsic to the Yielding Inquisition: there is no obfuscating act of misdirection, no factor of deceit that can withstand the abrading blade of trust conjured by the ritual. Truly, I have known you, and that secret knowledge is a weapon with which I joyfully flense and cast aside any and all flesh given over to the rot of doubt.”

It is upsetting that I don't have enough art this year for a month-by-month summary. It was a terrible, soul-fracturing year for multiple reasons, and I can count the finished, polished pieces I produced on one hand. But I still made art, and I would do well not to disregard that.

Found a drawing from almost two years ago of a tabletop character from a campaign that never ended up materializing. A human-sized warforged artificer built by a community of dragon-worshipping kobolds. Her name is Coriander.
