Writing "wisdom" I hate: WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW. This is the worst advice ever. It would be better if it was KNOW MORE SO YOU CAN WRITE ABOUT IT. Every good writer I know is constantly researching and getting new information and asking experts. It's a terrible bit of advice!

Most of my stories take place within a short amount of time, maybe a few months to a year at best. I do have a collection of novellas in the works that will have time jumps with the characters aging from young adult to old age in some cases. Curious how that one will turn out. #AwesomeCharacters

A deadline and determination to not fail the story I have been working on for the last two months by not sending it in. I had to lock myself away for four hours today, but it worked and I have finished. 🎉 Finding a new workflow has really helped me to keep going where I would have previously quit.
