Y’shtola: What are you doing all the way over here?
Thancred: Wallowing in self-pity, what does it looks like? ...This is the last time I'll get to see her smile.
Y’shtola: Hm..for now.
[Panel 2]
Y’shtola: She looks practiced. Did you have time between dance lessons to train her on the art of the pickup?
Thancred: You are ever incapable of letting things die with a modicum of dignity. Why must you dredge up my checkered past at every opportunity?
Y’shtola: Oh, I couldn't bear to let those memories fade. For all his faults, that man was fun.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:o7q3rs77iwsru75l57ma4wzj/bafkreih6gnqra4virxx2dhx645vix7kziurwbizsfy6wcacjnwsdvn2a4m)

Y’shtola: …I like this man, too.
[Panel 2, closeup of Thancred who is touched and somewhat caught off guard by her sincerity.]
[Panel 3]
Y’shtola: Now come dance with me, or I start telling Sharlayan stories.
Thancred: Alright, alright! Damn your memory..
[Thancred is extorted out of his brooding to lead Y’shtola in a dance. She conserves her aether-sight as she falls into frame with her trusted comrade and friend.]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:o7q3rs77iwsru75l57ma4wzj/bafkreietingd62gfzzgfb2rmpwtu2xnmw4clsifgnejfd4im2zkcnybcwu)
