bad decisions (@/parcivalewaves) [ #paulecelia | #artcelia | #arceliatag ]

a black and white illustration of arcelia, a miqo'te, and paulecrain, an elezen, both dressed in formal wear. arcelia sits on paulecrain's lap, holding a glass of wine in one hand, the other braced against his abdomen. his fingers are hooked under the strap of her dress as he tilts her face back towards him; in his other hand, he holds a smoking cigarette. both of their expressions are demure as they exchange a look.

“Yes,” she says, just as cordial, narrowing her eyes all the same, “and?”

Chapter 28: on thin ice.
Summary:

Revenir falls into her cups with Zenos as company. Something sure does transpire.

Chapter Text

“Where do you think you’re going?” Calyx inquired, because he seemingly had nothing better to do whilst ambling around the void.

Zenos responded with flat disinterest. “Adjourning.”

“You’re presumed dead. You cannot possibly have business to attend to.”

[arc voice] if you knew bloodwhetting this wouldn’t be an issue

“I thought you said you weren’t much of a healer,” Grinnaux scoffs, arms folded across his chest as he eyes the cane in her hand with contempt. Her mouth twitches into a frown as she stares back at him, gaze hardening.

“Well,” she says, impatient, already brushing past him, “would you rather have a mediocre healer, or none at all?”

wip whenever ft. their last interaction before the aery. aka their last interaction before the vault

Anyone could see them where they slow to a stop just outside the tavern, but Grinnaux doesn’t seem to care; he continues to hover damnably close, drawing around, smirking down at her — leaning in. For an absurd moment, she thinks he means to actually kiss her — but then he reaches out, takes her hand in his. Puts her fingers to his lips.

Murmurs, fever warm against her knuckles, “See you soon, kitten.”

Her breath hitches. Her heart flutters. Overhead, the clouds hang low and dark with the promise of imminent snowfall, the first few flurries already drifting down, catching in her hair. It is so cold. It is always so cold in Ishgard, in Coerthas, but here, with him, she —

Oh.

“See you,” she whispers.

Hi ✌️ i’m also doing a not-writes this month which will focus on my oc Camellia, also in the six sentence format. Day 1: Stride #sophiewrites | #sophieocs | #notwrites2026

The door creaks slightly ajar, but all it spills is cold and darkness. The lights, realistically, should be on, Camellia thinks as she hears the filament of the lone, bare lightbulb crackle; the telltale flickers fail to appear. What swallows light in this side of the house? There’s only one answer and instead of trepidation, curiosity jumps out. Already she drafts a list of potential ghosts, her steps slow and careful towards the door.

The abandoned wing houses more guests than the family is willing to accommodate.

So she must make herself the most agreeable host to those that haunt the halls.

real alphas don't use feral souls #ffxiv #dawntrail

Parody of the exploitable image format "Things to say when meeting her dad". FFXIV default character "Meteor Survivor" in his "Dawntrail" look (slicked back hair, stubble, wearing a Viper's outfit) stands in front of a black background, arms crossed and with a stern expression, rendered entirely in black and white. To his left is a large heading in white and red text (colored section marked with asteriks) reading "THINGS TO SAY *WHEN VISITING SOLUTION 9*". Below is a list of presumed statements with some words colored in for unclear reasons:
• Where do you keep the *electrope*
• which *sentry* do you trust the least
• what are your intentions with *tural*
• welcome to the *source*
• i brought my own *aether*
• Do you accept *gil* here?
• sell me this *resonator*
• name 10 *dead people*
• let me speak to the *soul cells* directly

v. Blossom | #Erenweek2026 | 3.1k words ↬ A flower as a confession. A flower as a thank you. A flower as a blessing. And then, there is the one he holds in his hand. Because for her, he holds a single bloom.

#Erenweek | #Erenweek2026 | #wolerenville #ffxivfanfic #xivfanfic #ffxivwriters | #erenwol

"Oh." She says, and her voice carries on the wind. "There you are." She whispers, like she'd been waiting for him forever.

And there are no words—no words at all—to impress upon her about how beautiful she'd been during her performance, or how captured he'd been by her presence. Not a hope in the seven hells to deny how he was feeling either, for all that he was sure it must have been writ clear across his face.

And he'd been better at it before. Before her. Better at playing at indifference, even though all he's often wanted was her attention all along.

He knows he must share her.

Knows she is not his alone, for all that she still remains so private with her time. With her energy. With whom she shares her affections.

But Erenville has her attention now, and he will be loathe to lose it again.
